To You shall the vow be performed.
“To You belongs silence (the submissive wonder of reverence which bursts forth into praise) and praise is due and fitting to You, O God, in Zion; and to You shall the vow be performed. O You Who hear prayer, to You shall all flesh come.”
Psalm 65:1-2 (AMPC)
Remember. Remember all your vows.
How many promises have you made and forgotten.?
Especially the most common phrase:
“I will be praying for you.”
Do you really remember to pray for all the people you have made such statements to?
“When you vow a vow or make a pledge to God, do not put off paying it; for God has no pleasure in fools (those who witlessly mock Him). Pay what you vow. It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.” Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 (AMPC)
God is Faithfull to forgive as you confess and repent from all that you have promised Him before.
He will surely guide you on the next steps of what to do.
David made a promise to Jonathan, and many events happened after that.
However, the day he remembered, he acted. (2 Samuel 9)
“I come before your presence with my sacrifice. I’ll give you all that I’ve promised everything I have. When I was overcome in my anguish, I promised to give you my sacrifice. Here it is! All that I said I would offer you is yours.” Psalm 66:13-14 (TPT)
As you reflect today, remember those vows you have made to God and do the needful.
