Advise?

“And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon, his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people? And they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants forever. But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:” 1 Kings 12:6-8 (KJV)

Who do you take advise from?
Who is your counselor on a daily basis that gives you input and insight that informs the decision you are taking?
In the above scriptures King Rehoboam, King Solomon’s son had to make a crucial decision, and he sought to advise from two different groups. What became of his kingdom was a result of the counsel he followed
The outcome of your daily decisions and ultimate direction in life depends on who is your adviser.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
God can guide you through your process of decision-making if you trust Him with all your heart.

 The Holy Spirit is available for you 24/7 to guide you in all areas of your life.
However, you must fuel it by your studying the Word of God, praying and a consistent Holy living.
“He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:3 (AMPC)
