The Power of Prayer.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5: 16. (KJV).

The most common cliches you hear in the Christian circle:

“We are praying for you.”

“You are in our prayers.”

Do you really mean it?

Do you actually get to do the praying?

Do you and your friends pray for one another? 

Do you pray for your parents? 

For your brothers and sisters?. 

In the Bible are various situations where the power of prayer can be seen. Jesus told the disciples not to pray with idle words. 

When you pray.

You must pray with faith.

What should you really pray for? 

Pray for the protection from God against evil. 

Pray that God will help you to be worthy to enter His Kingdom. 

Pray for the imminent return of Jesus.

Pray with your understanding.

Pray in the Spirit.

 What do you pray for?

Application to the Christian life: 

Pray with Faith. 

Pray for spiritual guidance.

Pray to be a faithful witness of Christ in all that you do. 

Pray that the Good News will reach everyone.
