The two become one person.

The two become one person.

“This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife in such a way that the two become one person. Now, although the man and his wife were both naked, neither of them was embarrassed or ashamed. Genesis 2:24-25 (TLB)

In instituting marriage, God encourages the man to leave his dependence on the parents to establish an entirely new relationship depending on the Almighty God directly.

Thank God for a Godly upbringing and excellent parenting.

However, at the point, a man and a woman decide to get married, they are to get their fresh mandate of what God has purposed their coming together to do.

“Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority… on the earth.” So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:26-27(AMP)

God’s Original design for man has been male and female from inception.

He gave that man authority over his dominion area.

That is why every couple must go back to God at the inception of their marriage to know their own given dominion platforms.

The very concept of unity in the Godhead that created man is infused into that new home from the very beginning.

God said, let us…

The God Head has 3 distinct personalities; however, as One, they make the man.

This same principle/concept applies to the husband and wife.

The two of them become like one person.

They shall become one flesh.

 The two become one person.

The unity and harmony that should exist between husband and wife are derivative from God.

Likewise, in marriage, the husband and wife have their personalities but are united in goal and purpose as God daily demonstrates.

Never too late to go back to God and submit your marriage for His purpose.

Let the Love and harmony in God make you one.

Olutoyin and I, for the past 30 years, have enjoyed continuous guide and direction from Him.

As we celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, it gets sweeter and better every day.

For 34 years, I have found in my lovely wife Olutoyin a true, faithful, reliable, and dependable friend.

We sang together again, that wonderful and meaningful hymn.

“THROUGH the Love of God our Saviour,

All will be well;

Free and changeless is His favor,

All, all is well.

Precious is the blood that healed us,

Perfect is the grace that sealed us,

Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,

All must be well.”
