They…that thought upon His name.

They…that thought upon His name.
“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Malachi 3:16-18 (KJV)
How many times have you thought of the name of God before you embarked on anything you want to do?
What gives you the advantage in life’s decision that you make is that you not only fear the Lord but carefully thinking out what the impact of your action will do to God and His Kingdom agenda.
God looks at this and then when you favor HIM in your thinking and planning HE pours out His abundant Blessing on all that you are doing.
There is an adage “Remember the son of whom you are.”
Always put in focus that as an ambassador for the kingdom of God your words and actions must be in line with God most High.
When you have put this into practice in your life God Himself distinguishes you, and the difference will be clear for all to see.
“Then those whose lives honored God got together and talked it over. God saw what they were doing and listened in. A book was opened in God’s presence and minutes were taken of the meeting, with the names of the God-fearers written down, all the names of those who honored God’s name.
God-of-the-Angel-Armies said, “They’re mine, all mine. They’ll get special treatment when I go into action. I treat them with the same consideration and kindness that parents give the child who honors them. Once more you’ll see the difference it makes between being a person who does the right thing and one who doesn’t, between serving God and not serving him.”
To remain distinguished and continuously favored by God keep company with those who truly serve the Lord.
