Wait on the LORD
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
Wait on the LORD is said twice by the psalmist in this scripture is emphasizing to you that you need to be patient and not move until you get your result.
It is so easy to give up on waiting when what you are waiting for seems to delay.
However, God is saying to you today again keep hope alive.
What is it that He has promised you?
Be confident that once you have heard from Him what He said He would do be patient, maintain your confession of faith it will surely come to pass.
“God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God.”
Psalm 62:11 (AMPC)
Hear what God has spoken to you with your external and internal hears and do not doubt.
Elijah surely heard from God the sound of the abundance of rain, but he kept sending the servant back “seven times “ before the servant could see a small cloud.
“And at the seventh time the servant said, A cloud as small as a man’s hand is arising out of the sea. And Elijah said, Go up, say to Ahab, Hitch your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.” 1 Kings 18:44 (AMPC)
In the context of our scripture today you can say Elijah “waited” seven times!!!.
Be empowered today by the truth that God that has spoken to you cannot lie, and He does not fail.
“Sometimes in life, you’ll find that
You get in a hurry
But when you have assurance
No need to worry
You can wait, wait, wait on the Lord, and you’ll see
He always keeps his word
Must, just, trust in Him
Don’t be dismayed” Donnie Mcclurkin
